I Rest in You, Father
 |
Dear Child, come unto Me and enter into My rest. Lay everything down that you have been wrestling with, and give your cares and struggles to Me, so that you can rest in Me. It is not My will that My children should strive and labor in their own strength, when I am your Help and your Stay, your Father, your Master Builder.
You have worked many times in your own strivings, and in those times you have not seen the fruitfulness for which you have looked. Your own labors will not accomplish my kingdom’s work, but will only frustrate and exhaust you. Unless the Lord builds the house, it is built in vain, My Word says. As your heart and soul rests in Me, I will use you for My glory in the great army which will bring My purposes to fruition.
Come and lay your head on your Father’s shoulder. Let me embrace my sons and daughters in My loving arms. My love for you will refresh you, cleanse you of your fears and your own works, and strengthen you for the completion of the journey. Come, and drink deeply of My wells of living water, eat freely of the fruit of my trees, and rest in the serenity of the gardens of My heavenly palaces. I will refresh you, and the work I have given you to do will be done without your vain striving.
Preach in My rest, prophesy in My rest, intercede in My rest, and serve in My rest. When you go forth at My bidding, go in My rest. Whatever your calling is, it can only be fulfilled in My rest. You enter My rest by putting your trust in Me.

“There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.”
