Out of the Mouths of Babes
 |
The Lord is absolutely infinite in wisdom and power. Last night during worship, the Holy Spirit brought to mind the scripture, "Out of the mouths of babes, thou has perfected praise." Psalm 8:2
Some of the purest and most powerful worship that goes up to the throne of God rises to Him from children who are touched deeply in their hearts by the atmosphere of heaven. They so freely worship the Lord, sometimes with tears streaming down their little faces, standing in the same spot for long periods of time in worship, not running to their parents, but in pure and sweet communion with the Lord. I have witnessed this happening in church services and in our daughter's life at home when she was five years old. She is in her mid-thirties, now, and she and her family serve the Lord faithfully and love Him dearly. Let the children come unto Jesus, and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of God. Mark 10:14
Our Lord is so excellent, majestic, and wise, that even the praise, which He places in the hearts of toddlers and children, stills His foes. The praises of God's children, both young and old, are awesome in battle! Our God is unsurpassed in counsel and He is mighty to deliver! He is the Beautiful One, the Only Wise God, and Merciful Savior!
"O Lord, our Lord, how excellent, majestic, and glorious is Your name in all the earth! You have set Your glory above the heavens. Out of the mouths of babes and unweaned infants, You have established strength because of Your foes, that You might silence the enemy and the avenger." Psalm 8:1-2 (Amplified)
Praise and worship are mighty weapons in the arsenal which the Lord has given us to overcome the enemy. Even the tiniest members of the kingdom of God can put the enemy to flight with their praises to the Lord.
Blessed be the Name of the Lord forever and forever! Glory, glory, glory to God in the highest! There is none like unto our God! Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty! We love You, Lord! Thank You, Father, Son, and Sweet Holy Spirit!!!
