More Scriptures on Healing
I Believe That I Am Healed by the Stripes of Jesus
The will of Jesus Christ to heal physical suffering was expressed emphatically and undeniably when the leper came to Him asking Him to heal him. The leper said, "If it be Thy will, make me clean." Jesus, without hesitation or having to consider it even for a moment, told the leper, "I am willing. Be thou clean." Mark 1:40-42
A prayerful study of the Old Testament prophecies about the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, Our Lord, Savior, and Healer, will clear any doubt away from your heart and mind that it is the will of God to heal you. In the New Testament, you will see Jesus healing many, many people, sometimes multitudes, sometimes one. He is no respecter of persons.
"He was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace (healing of the mind) was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed." Notice the verb, "are," is in the present tense. We ARE healed. Now, in the present time, we are healed by Jesus' stripes, by receiving His loving and merciful provision for physical healing by faith in His Word. Everything that we receive from the Lord is by faith, or trust, in Him and in His Word. Believe Him, and be healed!
For the further building of your faith in healing by the Word of God, Jesus, the Living Word, here are some more scriptures on which you can base your faith for healing. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal them to your heart or spirit, because that is where the Lord speaks to us.
Be healed, in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Healing belongs to you today as a child of God. Jesus said, "Healing is the children's bread."
Scriptural Basis for Physical Healing
"O Lord, my God, I cried unto Thee, and Thou has healed me." Psalm 30:2
"For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord..." Jeremiah 30:17
"Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for Thou art my praise." Jeremiah 17:14
"But unto you that reverence My Name, shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in His wings." Malachi 4:2
"And great multitudes came unto Him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and He healed them: Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel." Matthew 15:30-31
"And when they had passed over, they came into the land of Gennesaret, and drew to the shore. And when they were come out of the ship, straightway (the people) knew Him, and ran round about, and began to carry about in beds those sick, where they heard He was. And whithersoever He entered, they laid the sick in the streets, and besought Him that they might touch, if it were, but the border of His garment: and as many as touched Him were made whole." Reach out by faith, now, and touch the garment of Jesus. He is present to heal.
"Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers (many) diseases brought them unto Him (Jesus);and He laid His hands on every one of them, and healed them." Luke 4:40
"And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could not lift herself. And when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him, and said unto her,'Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. And He laid His hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God." Luke 13:11-13
"And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day? And when He had said these things, all His adversaries were ashamed: all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by Him." Luke 13:16-17
Everyone who is born again by faith in Jesus Christ is a son or daughter of Abraham. "And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise." Galatians 3:29
"The thief (devil) cometh not but for to steal, to kill, and to destroy: I AM come that they might have life, and that they may have life more abundantly." John 10:10
"How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power: Who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with Him." Acts 10:38
"Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today, and forever." Hebrews 13:8
"And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed." Acts 8:6-7
"And there he found a certain man named Aeneas, which had kept his bed eight years, and was sick of the palsy. And Peter said to him, 'Aeneas, Jesus Christ maketh thee whole: Arise, and make thy bed.' And he arose immediately." Acts 9:33-34
"And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who had never walked. The same heard Paul: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, Said with a loud voice, "Stand upright on thy feet. And he LEAPED and walked." Acts 14:8-10
After hearing the Word of God, not just with your ears, but with your heart, you too have faith to be healed. Receive the healing that Jesus paid for on the Cross for you, now. Keep the Word of God "in front of your eyes, and in your hearing," so that your faith in Jesus' compassion and desire to heal you will continue to rise. Allowing the Holy Spirit and the Word of God to build faith and trust in Jesus' compassion and power to heal you, will help you maintain your healing.
Jesus loves you so very much, and He wants you to reach out and receive your healing by faith in Him.
