Testimonies of Healing
 |
Everything that Jesus has done for mankind has been born out of His love for us. He went to the Cross of Calvary to pay for our sins because He loves us. He took our sicknesses upon Him in the stripes that He bore in His suffering because He loves us.
In this message, I am including some more testimonies of healing that my husband and I, friends, brothers and sisters in Christ, and family members have personally witnessed. All of them are documented in the medical records of these who were healed.
"And they overcame him (the devil) by the Blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives to the death." Revelation 12:11
Several years ago, my husband, Carl, and I were asked by our pastor to be coordinators of a 24-hour prayer telephone line, which was maintained by the church. The prayer line was established so that people in our area would have a place they could call for prayer, around the clock, when needs arose. One afternoon, while Carl and I were answering the prayer line, a lady called the prayer line number, and told Carl that she had just returned from her doctor with a diagnosis of cancer. Carl prayed for her on the phone, according to the Word of God on healing, asking the Lord to heal this lady of cancer. She offered to call back and let us know the results of her return appointment with her doctor. Two weeks later, she called the prayer line again, to report that the doctor examined her for the cancer which he had diagnosed a short time earlier. She was free of cancer, according to the doctor's report. All glory to the Living God!
We were the coordinators of that ministry for over a year, and, on another occasion, a lady called with a diagnosis of cancer. Again, my husband was the one to take the call. He prayed for her, she received her healing through faith in the Word of God, and she reported back, that, according to her doctor, the cancer which he had earlier diagnosed, was gone from her body. The Lord is compassionate and full of mercy, and He wants us to be whole. He told the leper who said, "If you will, make me clean." Jesus immediately said, "I AM willing. Be made clean." Mark 1:40-42 When Jesus said, "I am willing, He was saying, 'I want to heal you.' " Would a Savior Who gave His life on the Cross for our sins not want us also healed and set free from all of the bondage of satan? We are healed by His stripes. Isa.53:5, 1 Peter 2:24
One of the most miraculous healings I have ever seen, took place about two weeks ago in a western state of the U.S. A three year-old child suffered a cracked skull while playing at her home. She was rushed to the hospital and put into intensive care. Prayer was requested for her by email and phone immediately. This little girl had organ failure in seven of her organs, and she was in extremely serious and critical condition. Medically, people are only supposed to be able to survive the failure of a maximum of two organs in a health crisis.
After people around the country prayed for her for less than a week, she was in such good condition that she wanted to go home from the hospital and was very emphatic about it. Some of the people praying for her were children. I emailed my good friend who is in children's ministry, and she and her husband asked the children to pray for this little girl with the cracked skull and seven organ failures. The faith of a child...Jesus said, "Of such is the kingdom of God." Very likely, hundreds were praying, but the children were using their faith, too. Blessed be the Name of the Lord forever and forever!
When my brother, Max, was nineteen years old, he woke up one morning bleeding profusely from a stomach ulcer which no one knew he had. He was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery, and it looked like all medical efforts, for which we are thankful, were not going to be sufficient to stop him from bleeding. Doctors and nurses gave him 23 pints of blood in transfusions to replace the blood he was losing. After surgery, he continued to bleed, requiring further transfusions. My mother, in simple faith, had the Bible opened to Ezekiel 16:6, and she read that verse to him many, many times as he lay on the hospital bed in very serious condition. After several hours, the bleeding stopped, and he began recovery. He regained his health over a period of a few months, fully. Without the compassionate touch of the Lord, as he saw my mother's simple faith in God's Word, Max likely would not have survived that illness, because he was in such critical condition. Nothing is impossible to God. Is anything too hard for Him?
My husband's heart muscle, which was damaged from a heart attack in 1998, now shows no damage, according to the the last round of testing by his cardiologist. Until his last visit to the cardiologist, some damage was evident in every test. Jesus healed the damaged muscle! I have never heard of this happening to anyone after a heart attack. Our God is an Awesome God!
Several years ago, Jesus healed me of allergies, which were so severe that muscles in my rib cage were pulled from the coughing caused by the respiratory allergies. My doctor told me that there was no other medication that he could give me to control the allergy symptoms. The first time I went to a meeting where people were anointed with oil and hands were laid upon them for healing, I was healed of the severe allergies. This was about thirty years ago, and I knew very little about healing through believing God's Word. I never had the extreme coughing during allergy season again. Praise the Name of the Lord forever!
These last three testimonies tell of the Lord's healing compassion and love for our own family members. We have seen many people healed in our lifetime. My husband and I have known the Lord for four plus decades, so we have seen His goodness, love, and compassion so many times, even daily, because He is our Life.
If you need physical healing today, reach out in faith, believing that God's Word is true for you, today. "Jesus Christ, the same, yesterday, and forever." Hebrews 13:8 Just say to the Lord, Who is listening for your prayer and words of faith in Him, "Dear Lord Jesus, I believe that you bore my sins and my sicknesses on the Cross, according to Your Word. You were wounded for my sins, bruised for my iniquities, the chastisement of my peace was upon You, and by Your stripes, I am healed. I receive healing for my body because of the stripes You bore on Your back for my healing. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for healing me. I love You, Lord Jesus. Thank You for Your great love for me. Continue praising and worshipping Him, and thanking Him for your healing until you see it fully manifested.

There are many excellent books, tapes, and CD's available on the subject of healing. As you read and hear the Word, your faith will increase for maintaining your healing, and for helping someone else to receive healing.
God's Word applies to you personally, because He paid the price for you, personally.
